Out of Town Patient Program

Pelvic floor dysfunction knows no borders. That’s why we decided to build a program that treats any pelvis, from anywhere.

Sarton physical therapy offers intensive therapy sessions for anyone coming for pelvic floor physical therapy from outside the Orange County, Los Angeles County or San Diego County area.

How it Works

Whether you are traveling from out of town, out of state, or out of the country, your out of town program will vary based on your diagnosis and necessary treatment.

Step 1: The first step is to contact our Out of Town Coordinator and Office Manager, Lynn Gottschalk at (714) 770-8222. When calling, please tell the receptionist that you are inquiring about our out of town services. She will provide you with information about the program specifics, pricing, etc. This step may also include a short call with one of our physical therapists.

Step 2: If necessary, we will then contact you to set up a Skype, FaceTime or phone consultation with a therapist so we can more thoroughly assess what the most effective personal treatment plan would be. This call should be about 15-30 minutes in length.

Step 3: We will set up your first appointment in one of our Southern California clinics, which will be 2 hours in length.

Step 4: Lynn will then contact you with appointment dates and times so you can adjust your schedule while in the area.

Lives Changed by the Out of Town Program:

  • How long do I need to come for?

    • Based on individual needs, we like to start with either FaceTime or Skype session, and then we come up with proposed plan where we will address length of stay.

    • A stay can range in length anywhere from 3-5 days to 4 weeks, depending on each case. In more extreme cases, patients may even temporarily relocate to Southern California while receiving treatment.

  • How much does it cost?

    • The cost will be dependent on the stay, but you always get a discounted rate of physical therapy treatment when booking an intensive program. Plus, we work with local hotels and lodging accommodations to try and get discounted rates whenever possible.

  • Where do I stay?

    • Please see our lodging recommendations above.

  • How far in advance do I need to plan?

    • In order to get the ideal dates and times, we suggest scheduling 6-8 weeks ahead of time.
