Lisa was first introduced to Pilates after a back injury and years of pain, she decided it was time for a change, both mentally and physically, and pursued Pilates as her career.
She received her Pilates certification through Body Arts & Science International (BASI), specializing in pelvic floor dysfunctions, osteoporosis, cancer rehabilitation, and pre/post natal. She learned then that Pilates could benefit everyone and it is important to teach Pilates to anyone who interested in learning.
Teaching for over 12 years, Lisa has worked with clients of all ranges, from pre/post natal, to athletes, to post surgical rehabilitation. With her extensive experience, she sees the benefits Pilates brings to clients dealing with aging, chronic pain, injury and rehabilitation. Lisa’s teaching style is based on the traditional Pilates method. Building on this as a foundation, she adds creativity to her methods, making each session both fun and challenging while still being mindful of the individual needs of each patient.
