About Megan

Megan Bishop has spent the last 12 years as an orthopedic physical therapist in Los Angeles, specializing in integrating her manual skills with strengthening to treat the system as a whole. She specializes in visceral manipulation, nerve work and cranial sacral therapy. She is also a movement based practitioner, internationally certified in RedCord and Pilates, to help the body restore its strength and stay in motion. A new mom herself, she has worked the last decade with pre and postnatal patients to help restore a mom’s core, pelvic floor and overall function.

She started her alternative nerve work journey with an idiopathic neuritis that no doctor could help… but a PT could! She had to know more, and has spent the last 12 years taking classes with Barral and the Upledger Institute. She is a teaching assistant for visceral manipulation in California.

Megan recently moved to Orange County to be close to her husband’s family. You can find Megan hiking, snowboarding, taking a Yoga or Pilates class, baking, or hanging with her son at home.
